

In 2002, BIONICLE: Matoran Adventures was again released for the Game Boy Advance. It was meant to pick up story at some point after the events of Triumph of the Toa. The story that was in the game was changed, and the game is now non-canon. The game was scrapped, though preliminary copies were distributed to around fifteen individuals. The company also was set to make BIONICLE: The Legend of Mata Nui, a game detailing canon storyline in-between the three comics in 2001, and picking up after they finished. The Mata Nui Online Game picks up from this point.

At the end he summons the Toa Mata to the island, and gets knocked out. This video game told the story of Takua's quest to recover the missing Turaga, their Badges of Office, and the Toa Stones. The GBA game was BIONICLE: Quest for the Toa. One company was given the permission to create a Game Boy Advance and computer game. In 2001, LEGO decided to put a could portion of canon storyline into video games.
